Welcome to the blog!

On our brand new site it’s important to us that besides the polished product, you get a window into the messiness of our process. In early 2017, after over a decade of maintaining a one-dance-a-season rep habit, TSMP decided to shift our focus from production to process. For us, durational process is not only a necessity of working in radical collaboration and cooperation with each other, it’s also a method of resistance to the pressure to produce and perform (both metaphorically and, you know, literally). 

For us, Sunday rehearsals are just as special as annual performances - except for the fact that we don’t get to share those rehearsals with you. So here on the blog, we now invite you into our process beyond performance by sharing with you our unfinished, unfiltered, messy, glorious progress. 

You can expect rehearsal footage, reflections on our creative process, musings on our lives as dance artists/parents/women/lawyers/union organizers/teachers/administrators, and other experiments. We hope you’ll join us in this ongoing conversation.
